Long Beach, California – ‘Sharing ideas’ and ‘Making connections’ are the themes of this year’s ASHRAE Winter Conference held in conjunction with the AHR Expo. For P2S this is one of the most important industry meetings of the year, allowing key staff to collaborate and network with their peers in advancing the building industry. P2S also looks forward to reviewing the latest technologies and learning about improved practices for the built environment.
“We are excited to attend this year with seven P2S staff representing our wide range of technical committees discussing the latest developments and research in the building industry, such as high performing buildings and integrated design. We will also participate in technical seminars, attend courses, earn professional credits and contribute in the committee meetings,” says Kent Peterson, COO and ASHRAE former President.
For the former ASHRAE President and Chief Engineer of P2S, Kent Peterson, the meeting is not only a place to discuss the harmonization of several industry BIM standards, guidelines and codes, it is also an opportunity to collaborate on ‘Net-Zero Energy Building’ guidelines and project ideas developed by P2S.
In addition to their special interests, our engineers selected their program from 100 sessions and 300 speakers. P2S will report their experiences and work in seven short stories over the five-day conference and publish via P2S social media channels.
