One of the leading Architectural, Engineering and Construction (A/E/C) management training and consulting firms, PSMJ Resources, Inc. has named Long Beach, California-based P2S Engineering to its prestigious Circle of Excellence list. The PSMJ Circle of Excellence Survey recognizes professional service firms for exemplary management of clients, staffs and projects.
Now in its 30th year, the 2010 PSMJ A/E Financial Performance Survey recognized only 44 out of 217 firms surveyed to its Circle of Excellence. The survey includes data collected from 217 architectural and engineering firms in the United States and Canada. The Survey provides detailed data and analysis on operating profits, overhead rates, utilization, financial ratios, marketing costs and much more.
“The PSMJ Circle of Excellence is not determined by firm revenue, profitability, or sheer size – nor is it determined by any subjective criteria,” explained H.E. “Dan” Daniels, PSMJ’s survey editor. “The 13 benchmarks that determine the PSMJ Circle of Excellence were chosen to reflect that the firms are well-managed, have a strong client base, and are led in a responsible and sustainable manner. PSMJ believes that clients prefer to work with well-run firms because they are more likely to provide superior service and value,” continued Daniels.
This is the second time in three years that P2S has been included in the prestigious Circle of Excellence. “We are extremely honored to be recognized, for the second time, among the top firms in our industry,” said P2S President, Kevin Peterson. “This is a tribute to our remarkable staff at P2S, a testament to our primary objective to provide our clients with the highest level of service while maintaining our commitment to providing innovative engineering solutions.”
